For many years I worked as a marketing executive for a multinational firm.
One morning, before leaving home for a flight to Tokyo, my daughter asked me, "Mommy could you put your perfume on a scarf so I can have your smell with me while you're gone?" Naturally , I liberally sprayed my Chanel no. 5 on a scarf for my daughter. Later that day on the flight I happened to smell Chanel no. 5 on another.
Suddenly I was nearly overwhelmed by the full dimension of the evocative force of odor.
I grew up amongst the cement and stones of Paris. It was in Martinique, visiting family, that I first discovered the sweet, fruity woody and spicy atmosphere of this island of flowers and the heady richness of it's natural odors.
Upon my return from Tokyo I decided to embark upon a very different path professionally.
I attended L'ecole de Parfum de Versailles -ISISPCA- and completed my mastery of aromatherapy and phytotherapie at L'Ecole Lyonnaise des Plantes Medicinales and at La Faculté de Medécine de Bobigny ( Paris XIII) I regularly work in conjunction with the Musée de Parfum Fragonard where I direct the Workshop ,"The Perfumer's Apprentice," for an international clientele.
Today I share my knowledge of and passion for essential oils through a series of specifically tailored workshops. From initiation into the uses of essential oils to the guided creation of one's own uniques fragrance, I accompany you into the sensorial world of aroma.
